FAQ
How may I purchase original works? What is available? Do you have prints?
A selection of works is available at STORE. Please inquire if you are interested in other works, as I don’t offer all that is available online.
How long have you been doing art and did you receive formal training?
I first started drawing, from what I can remember, at the age of 4. My grandmother was and is an artist and she was a huge influence on me. I would stay at her house in Pasadena, California and would see all her gorgeous paintings in the house and on the walls. I would try to emulate her by drawing non stop. I was always attracted to the medium of graphite as I was amazed of realism and detail you could capture with pencil.
As my continued interest in art grew, so did my height and size. After high school I received a basketball scholarship to the University of Cal State San Bernardino. Only after a season and a half I focused solely on art and studies and pushed my sports days quickly to the past. While in college I started to experiment with other mediums. This is where I fell in love with photography. I was influenced by some common and not so common ‘edgier’ artists, both contemporary and of the past.
How many tattoos do you have?
Although a selection of models I photograph have tattoo work, I don’t have any.
How did you get started doing photography?
Although I took a basic photography class in college, I don’t really have formal training per say. I learned everything on my own. Once I had my style down and the look I was going for, I just went for it.
How can I model for you? What are you looking for?
I’m now on Model Mayhem. That can you give you a good description of who and what I’m looking for.
Do you pay your models?
The work done between myself and the model is done in exchange for digital files which may be used on their personal websites with permission from myself.
What kind of camera do you use?
I use and recommend Canon.
